I haven't really maintained this "blog" mostly because I hate the word "blog," but also because I've been busy maintaining any number of other narcissistic social network wherein we always end up talking about ourselves until blue in the face.

It was my idea to hold a contest to see who might notice the palindrome that is my blog's name - but it's sort of yesterday's birthday cake by now.

As this bl_g just started out as a eulogy to my Nana, I didn't intend for it to be an obituary page of friends and family - but if I would have had the mental capacity the past couple of years, it would have become just that. People started dying left and right and I really wish now that I would have given them all a send-off here. Even though it seems to be for no one but me (and a stranger named Elizabeth), I really enjoy that.
